Meet Lilly Tweed. Former Agony Aunt. Purveyor of Fine Teas. Accidental Sleuth.
The annual amateur artist competition is a huge event for Plumpton Mallet and this year Lilly is invited to be a judge.
But there’s a pall of envy hanging over the town and, to her shame, Lilly is not immune.
The event starts well, but disaster strikes when a body is discovered. Then things get worse.
Detective Phillips is removed from the case and with her only ally gone, Lilly is accused of murder.
But if the police think they’ve ‘got their man,’ then the actual murderer is walking around free. Lilly urgently needs to solve the case to find the real culprit and clear her name.
But how can she investigate when she’s locked in a cell?
